“This homeowner had his 12-year-old roof inspected by us as we were visiting the neighborhood. Can your review the entire process for us?

“First, our foreman Jeff and I arrived to look for potential hazards, soft plants, items around the house that need to be moved. We then covered the front yard and any other sensitive areas with tarps. Next, our roofing crew arrived to tear off the existing roof. This usually takes 2-4 hours. The next step is that they blew off small debris and laid down an ice and water shield, which is synthetic felt. After a quick break, they loaded up the roof.

After lunch, the crew gets busy with the final step, which is the laying down the new shingles. This part of the process usually takes 5 hours. Lastly, ventilation is installed and clean up begins. We have our roofing process down to a science! And that’s it!

The next day the foreman or salesman returned for a final inspection and clean up, we like to make sure if there was something missed that wasn’t seen in the fading light that we take care of it the next day and that the caulking was done correctly.

Throughout this entire process, we send photos of our progress to the client! They really like knowing what’s going on, it brings a sense of comfort.”
